Our founder president (pioneer dedicated snake rescuer from Nepal), Sunil Sapkota founded Biodiversity Nepal in 2020 out of his passion for the biological diversity of Nepal. Biodiversity Nepal is a common forum for scientists and activists dedicated to conservation or environmental campaign. We aim to seek the attention of policymakers and be responsible media to inform students and the public, others in the community.
Biodiversity Nepal thrives to be recognized as an accurate and trustworthy source of information about nature and not limited to natural resources, biological interaction, conservation methods, and models, climate change, and biodiversity loss. Schools, civil society organizations as well as development agencies can apply the platform for news reporting and analysis.
This platform inspires the right to have a pristine source and loving nature for the next generation. The portal can be used as a collective knowledge source for a conservationist, students, and activists around the country to speak up for non-humans right, and issues related to aspects of biodiversity.
Biodiversity Nepal materializes the primary objective of Raise Hands Nepal to develop a model to educate everyone about nature and health. Raise Hands Nepal was formed by Sunil Sapkota with help of some other youths to facilitate conservation and health education, waste management, wild and stray animal rescue.
Volunteers from the institution contribute in raising awareness about social and environmental issues relating to biodiversity and its aspects from this facility. Interested creators can connect us to be a regular contributor. We also welcome dedicated special issues from any interested to express for nature. Contribute an article to Biodiversity Nepal.
